A 37-year-old man was detained for 24 hours following a traffic chase that took place on February 18. The suspect, who initially caused an accident resulting in material damage, refused to stop at the police signals, being pursued over a distance of 3 kilometers. During the attempt to escape, he collided with a police vehicle, lost control of the steering wheel, and crashed into a fence.

Although he tried to escape on foot through a park, the man was quickly immobilized. Following the checks, it was found that he did not possess a driving license, and the breathalyzer test indicated a value of 0.61 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. A criminal case was opened against the man, who was transported to the hospital for the collection of biological samples.
