Cristian Andrei, a doctor accused of sexual assault against several patients and of practicing psychology without a license, was heard at the Sector 1 Criminal Investigation Service after being brought in handcuffed following searches. Although he was temporarily detained, he will be investigated at liberty. The accusations concern activities carried out between 2004 and 2025, during which he allegedly misled patients, claiming to be a psychologist, despite not having a license to practice. Investigators have established that, during therapy sessions, he allegedly committed acts of sexual aggression, taking advantage of the patients' vulnerability. Complaints have been filed by five individuals, and the police conducted searches at his residence. Cristian Andrei denied the accusations, stating that he did not harm anyone and that he does not intend to obtain a license to practice. The police opened an investigation after information about his illegal activities was published in the press.
