The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) announced that it has extended the deadline for completing the online questionnaire for judges, extending it until December 21, 2025. The initiative aims to consult the professional body of judges on current issues in the judicial system.

Criticism has come from Stelian Ion, former Minister of Justice, who argued that the questionnaire is not an open research, but a way to validate a convenient narrative about the crisis in justice. Ion warned that the distribution of the questionnaire could exert pressure on magistrates.

On December 22, President Nicușor Dan will hold a meeting at Cotroceni with magistrates dissatisfied with the functioning of the justice system.
