The National Health Insurance House (CNAS) has provided clarifications on obtaining insured status for individuals with income from royalties, rents and agricultural activities. They can submit the single declaration (D212) at any time during the year in which they opt to pay social health insurance contributions. Insured status is granted as from the date of submission of the declaration and expires at the legal deadline for its submission, unless a new declaration is submitted. The CNAS has emphasized that it has taken measures to facilitate access to medical services for these persons.
