The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) has fined Realitatea Plus 40,000 lei for violating the law on the separation of opinions from facts. The sanction was decided after analyzing broadcasts that contained subjective statements and provocative headlines. Antena 3 CNN also received a fine of 5,000 lei for failing to respect the right to one's own image during a broadcast. CNA also issued public summons to other broadcasters and decided to take action against illegal content on social platforms.
