Schools closed in several counties due to snowfall. Some have switched to online classes.

Tens of educational institutions in the counties of Alba, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Cluj, Galați, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iași, Mehedinți, Prahova, Satu Mare, Sălaj, and Sibiu have suspended classes or are conducting them online due to heavy snowfall. The Ministry of Education has informed that, by 9:00 AM, several schools announced the suspension of educational activities due to impassable roads or power and heating outages.

For example, in Bihor County, some schools have partial online activity, while in Bistrița-Năsăud, several institutions have completely suspended classes. In Cluj, seven educational institutions have suspended their activities, while the "Andrei Mureșanu" National College in Dej is conducting online activities. Other counties, such as Hunedoara and Prahova, announced the suspension of classes a day earlier for the same reasons.
