The Mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, met on Thursday with the Mayor of Sector 3, Robert Negoiță, to discuss road infrastructure projects aimed at improving traffic in Bucharest. Among the topics addressed were the widening of Dudești Road and the construction of an underground passage to resolve the traffic jams at the intersections of Mihai Bravu Road with Vitan Road. Ciucu emphasized the importance of aligning the visions of the two municipalities to advance joint projects.

Negoiță proposed the construction of an elevated passage at the intersection of Camil Ressu and Nicolae Grigorescu boulevards, and Sector 3 is committed to widening Dudești Road to two lanes in each direction. Additionally, there was discussion about an underground pedestrian passage to connect the Titan metro station with the nearby residential area. The two mayors agreed to collaborate to coordinate the works and avoid delays in the implementation of the projects.
