On the occasion of the Romanian Police Day, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu underlined the importance of police efforts in the fight against drug trafficking, noting that more than a ton of drugs seized in 2024, which represents lives saved, especially among young people. Ciolacu called for continued serious action against traffickers, especially when they target minors, and emphasized the need to ensure safety in schools, where more than 24,000 prevention activities have taken place.
