Predoiu emphasized the importance of the meeting on his social media account, mentioning that Romania is a key partner in the transport of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the USA through the Vertical Corridor in Central and Eastern Europe. Agen highlighted the progress made in securing LNG export agreements and expressed satisfaction in collaborating with Romania to accelerate steps within the energy alliance. In the USA, Cătălin Predoiu was awarded the International Public Service Award at the Alliance 2025 Gala, an award presented by former ambassador Mark Gitenstein. Gitenstein praised Cătălin Predoiu's contributions in the field of corporate governance, highlighting the positive impact on transparency and the fight against corruption in Romania.
