According to a survey, medical staff in Romania are facing low morale due to budget cuts and legislative measures, such as capping bonuses and the prohibition of private work. 40.6% of respondents are considering emigration, while 33.6% prefer the private sector. The survey highlights a staffing crisis, with thousands of positions available and a trend of doctors leaving, which can severely affect the public health system. Consequences include longer waiting times and lower quality of care.
