The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) issued a statement criticizing the Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, for avoiding a televised debate on the European SAFE program, preferring to appear in another studio. BNS accuses the minister of promoting misleading information about the benefits of the program, such as half-price purchases and deferred payments.

Trade unionists are demanding public answers to essential questions, including about Romania's strategy within the SAFE program, specific industrial objectives, and financial evaluations for armament programs. Additionally, BNS is calling for clarifications regarding domestic production and the economic benefits generated by these programs. Finally, BNS expresses concern that the minister is playing a secondary role in negotiations, similar to his predecessors, and warns that the lack of clear answers will strengthen the belief that Romania is not prepared for these negotiations.
