A power outage has affected two hospitals in Bucharest, the culprit was a faulty electrical transformer.

The problem originated from a transformer in the electricity grid in the area, causing several power outages at the Fundeni Clinical Institute and the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases "Prof. Dr. Dr. C.C. C. Iliescu". The critical areas in the two hospitals are running thanks to generators, and Enel is working to fix the fault. Although the situation is under control, medical staff fear that such outages may affect medical equipment.
