According to a BCG survey, 71% of Romanians have a negative view of the political climate and 64% are worried about the economy. Despite facing inflation and price hikes, Romanian consumers are adjusting their budgets and looking for discounts, preferring established brands. Romania lags behind in digitization, but consumers have high delivery expectations. Although 57% are concerned about sustainability, only 16% are willing to pay more for green products. Brands must deliver real value and respond to consumer needs.
