The private Armonia Hospital in Constanța resumed its maternity activity on November 4, after addressing the deficiencies identified following an inspection conducted by the Ministry of Health, which led to the closure of the operating room and the ICU. Representatives of the Public Health Directorate in Constanța confirmed the reopening of the hospital, stating that checks were carried out on-site. In October, the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, expressed concern regarding the hospital's operating license, emphasizing that he does not understand how it was issued for a unit that does not meet the standards.
He also announced the dismissal of the head of the DSP Constanța, Cristina Mihaela Schipor, who authorized the hospital. She contested her dismissal, requesting to be reinstated, threatening legal action if the decision is not reversed. The hospital promoted the resumption of deliveries on social media, highlighting the importance of safety and coordination in the delivery process.
