Secretary of State Raed Arafat announced the adoption of a decision establishing the criteria for compensation for people affected by floods in Suceava and Neamț. The compensation varies depending on the possession of building authorization and insurance. Those with authorization and insurance receive 90% of the assessed difference, those with authorization but without insurance receive 70%, and those without authorization and insurance receive 50%. Arafat stressed the importance of insurance and rebuilding in safe areas. A Government Decision will be issued next week to apply these criteria.
