The National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania (ANOSR) will protest on October 2 in Victory Square, following a recent protest with 300 participants. Students are contesting austerity measures in education, such as the reduction of the scholarship fund and the limitation of rail transport. ANOSR demands fair funding for education and a review of legislation that affects students' rights. Among their requests are an increase in the scholarship fund and the reintroduction of scholarships for students in fee-paying places.
