According to the updated estimates from ANM, temperatures will be colder than usual and it will rain more until May 18, 2026. In the week of May 11-18, temperature values will be slightly lower, especially in the western and southwestern regions, and the rainfall regime will be excessive in the western, northwestern, southern regions, and locally in the central ones.
After this date, between May 18 and 25, temperatures will return to normal, but precipitation will be excessive in the east and deficient in the west. In the following weeks, until June 8, temperatures will remain close to normal averages, with locally deficient precipitation in the northwest.
The estimates are made by ECMWF, taking into account deviations from the 2006-2025 average. Short-term extreme phenomena are not included in these forecasts.
