ANM: Moderate precipitation, ice, frost, and blizzards from Friday to Sunday, with snowfall and low temperatures

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a warning for the period from Friday, 2:00 AM, until Sunday, 10:00 AM, announcing moderate precipitation, ice, and frost.

The area of precipitation will expand from the west, with rain predominating in Banat and Crișana, while snow will be more frequent in Moldova and in the mountains. On Friday evening and during the night from Friday to Saturday, snow will be dominant, with water quantities of 10-25 l/m² and a snow layer of 5-15 cm. The wind will intensify in the western regions and in the mountains, with speeds of 40-55 km/h and gusts of 70-90 km/h, causing blizzards and reduced visibility. The weather will be cold, with maximum temperatures between -3 and 4 degrees, and on Saturday it will get even colder, with minimums between -12 and -2 degrees, especially in northern Moldova.
