Constantin Nistor, an anti-fraud inspector within ANAF Bucharest, was sent to court by the DNA after being caught red-handed receiving a bribe of 3,000 lei. In the period from September to October 2025, Constantin Nistor conducted an inspection at a commercial company, where he discovered irregularities.

In exchange for limiting the inspection and applying a fine, he requested a sum of money from the company's manager, C.A.S. After being caught with the money, Constantin Nistor was accused of bribery, and the manager was accused of giving a bribe. Both admitted to the facts and accepted suspended sentences: Constantin Nistor for 2 years and 8 months, and the manager for 1 year and 4 months, plus unpaid community service. The agreements were submitted to the Bucharest Tribunal for validation.
