The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has announced the identification of five officials from the Bucharest Regional Directorate of Public Finances involved in conflicts of interest. They were using digital certificates to represent the interests of private companies, while having control over them, in violation of the law. ANAF will refer the case to the National Integrity Agency (ANI), which comes amid wider allegations of links between officials and consultancy firms.
