The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has initiated a control action that has led major retail sites in the U.S. to withdraw millions of advertisements for electronic equipment from China, including products from companies like Huawei and ZTE. The FCC warns that these devices may threaten national security, facilitating espionage and disrupting communication networks. Additionally, the FCC will vote on new rules to strengthen restrictions on Chinese telecommunications equipment.
