Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan has announced that almost 400,000 consumers have opted to change their electricity supplier in 2023, with the majority choosing Hidroelectrica. Ivan emphasized that Hidroelectrica can still receive new customers and presented seven strategic projects to increase the company's production capacities. It is also working on implementing a mechanism for Hidroelectrica to become the market maker on the energy market, setting the reference price for electricity.
