Alert in Focșani: 7-year-old boy fell from the second floor of a building

On Saturday, April 4, Focșani was shaken by a serious incident when a 7-year-old boy fell from the second floor of a building on Războieni Street. The incident was reported via the emergency number 112 around 4:00 PM, prompting a rapid response from rescue teams. A C2 type ambulance with a doctor arrived at the scene; however, the minor had already been taken by his father and brought back to their apartment.

Upon the arrival of the medical team, the child was conscious but presented with a thoraco-abdominal trauma. The doctors provided first aid and stabilized the vital functions of the boy, who was later transported to the Emergency Reception Unit in Focșani for further investigations. The Vrancea County Police Inspectorate confirmed the incident and sent a team to investigate the circumstances of the fall, including whether the minor was being supervised.

Representatives of the Ambulance Service emphasized the importance of safety measures in homes, especially for apartments located on upper floors, to prevent similar tragedies.
