Although Airbus leads in deliveries and unfulfilled orders, Boeing reported 908 net orders in the January-November 2025 period, compared to 700 for Airbus. Faury mentioned that assistance from the American president has influenced orders, especially from Asian airlines. Airbus recently obtained approval from Chinese authorities for the delivery of 120 aircraft and resolved a major software issue that affected 6,000 aircraft in the A320 range. However, Airbus has revised its delivery target for 2025 down to 790 units due to quality issues with suppliers.
