The Urban and Regional Sociology Center (CURS) has received accreditation from the Electoral Bureau of Constituency No. 42 to conduct exit polls for the elections for the Capital City Hall, scheduled for December 7. So far, 20 candidacies have been registered for the position of General Mayor, and these will be validated and finalized by November 23. CURS operators will have access to the protection zone of 500 meters around the polling stations, but not inside them, having the obligation not to disturb public order. So far, six candidacies have been validated, including those of Cătălin Drulă (USR) and Ciprian Ciucu (PNL). Contesting the decisions of the BEM is allowed by citizens and parties within 24 hours of the candidacies being posted.
