The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, announced that out of nearly 95,000 households affected by snow and blizzards, 91,000 have been reconnected to electricity, leaving only 4,000 without power. In Alba County, over 11,000 people have been reconnected. Ivan thanked the teams of electricians who worked under difficult conditions.

The National Energy System operated without issues, even during peak consumption times, which reached 8,800 MW. Teams continue to work to reconnect the last affected households. Additionally, the weather will significantly cool down, with temperatures dropping to minus 10 degrees in northern Moldova, and meteorologists have issued warnings of frost and blizzards.
