Minister of Labor, Simona Bucura-Oprescu, has announced that, starting July 1, vulnerable Romanians could benefit from monthly vouchers of 71 lei to help them pay their energy bills, once the price cap is lifted. The law is being finalized and could be approved by the government before then. Vulnerable consumers are defined as having an average monthly income of 1,386 lei per household member, and those facing financial hardship will have to register to receive help.
