A 70-year-old man from Constanța was the victim of a scam, being contacted by a fake doctor who claimed that his son was in critical condition and needed 300,000 lei for treatment. He was convinced to give 50,700 lei to a person who showed up at his home. The police have launched an investigation to look into the case.
