A 26-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with the tram of line 53 on Bucureștii Noi Boulevard.

A tragic accident occurred on Bucharesti Noi Boulevard, where a 26-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with the tram of line 53. According to the Capital's Traffic Brigade, the motorcyclist was traveling from Chitila Road towards Jiului Street when the impact with the tram driven by a 54-year-old man, who was exiting the STB depot, took place.

First aid crews responded quickly, performing resuscitation maneuvers; however, the doctors declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The tram driver was tested with a breathalyzer, with a result of zero. Traffic was restricted in the area, and the police continue their investigations to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
