In Dâmbovița County, the police carried out two home searches on September 2 in the localities of Odobești and Braniștea, targeting individuals suspected of usury.

Following these raids, 191,500 lei were found buried in the yard of one of the searched homes. The Dâmbovița County Police Inspectorate announced that, on the same day, eight individuals will be taken for questioning, of which six are victims.

The investigation is coordinated by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Răcari Court, and the activities were supported by the gendarmes from the Dâmbovița County Gendarmerie Inspectorate. The investigations continue to establish all the circumstances of the case.
