UniCredit Bank, the main partner of the Christmas Tree Festival, marked 25 years of tradition by donating a contemporary art tree created by artist Vlad Nancă, which raised a record of 220,000 euros. The funds will be directed towards the educational programs of the Save the Children Romania organization, aiming for the school integration of children from vulnerable families.
Mihaela Lupu, CEO of UniCredit Bank, emphasized the importance of investment in education, considering it an "invisible dividend" that transforms into concrete chances for future generations. The gala was marked by a tight competition, and the tree was won by Catena for 90,000 euros, with additional contributions from other clients of the bank.
