Transylvanian Cat, recognized as the first 100% Romanian breed

Recently, Romania hosted a cat beauty contest, where hundreds of felines were evaluated by judges from five countries. The event marked an important premiere: the recognition of the Transylvanian Cat as the first 100% Romanian breed. Participants were impressed by the charisma and elegance of the cats, and the organizer Alex Elian mentioned that this breed is raised not only in Romania but also in various countries such as Hungary, France, and the United States.

Visitors had the opportunity to admire cats of all shapes and colors, each having its unique beauty. According to data, nearly half of the households in Romania own at least one cat, highlighting the love of Romanians for these animals.
