Rick Davies, co-founder of the band Supertramp, has passed away at the age of 81.

Davies died on Saturday, ten years after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. The band stated: "As a co-writer, together with partner Roger Hodgson, he was the voice and pianist behind the most iconic Supertramp songs, leaving an unforgettable mark in the history of rock music."
