Amazon MGM Studios has announced that Steven Knight, best known for the Peaky Blinders series, will write the script for the next James Bond film, after an absence since the last film's release in 2021. Knight will collaborate with director Denis Villeneuve, and Amazon has gained creative control of the franchise after a deal with producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson. Knight has extensive experience in television and literature, having also co-created 'Wanna be a Millionaire?'.
