'Shrek 5' has been rescheduled for a second time, now slated for a June 30, 2027 release, competing with 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse'. While the official reasons have not been disclosed, the strategy aligns with the success of summer releases of other animated films. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz return in their respective roles, and Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn are directing. The movie promises to be a family event, continuing the tradition of the hit franchise.
