Romania is claiming ownership of El Greco's masterpiece 'Saint Sebastian', estimated at 7-9 million dollars, recently withdrawn from Christie's auction. The painting is owned by a company controlled by Dmitry Rybolovlev, a Russian oligarch, who claims he legally owns the work. The trial is taking place in the US, and Romania has hired an international team of lawyers to argue its case.
