George R.R.R. Martin is excited about the first season of 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms', a Game of Thrones prequel.

'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' is a new series based on the stories by George R.R. Martin. The first season, which centers on Ser Duncan 'Dunk' the Tall, is inspired by the short story 'The Hedge Knight'. Martin confirmed that the other stories in the Dunk and Egg series, 'The Sworn Sword' and 'The Mystery Knight', will also be adapted in future seasons. The series also features the character of Aerion Targaryen, the cruel and arrogant son of Maekar Targaryen, played by Finn Barnett.
