Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that Johnny Depp could reprise the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in the next movie in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise, but it all depends on the proposed script. Although the relationship between the actor and Disney has been strained, Bruckheimer emphasized that Depp is essential to the iconic character. Talks for a new movie have been underway since 2019, and the producer says the team is hard at work finalizing the script.
