The head of original programming at HBO Max discussed the upcoming 'Harry Potter' series at the Series Mania conference in Lille, France. She described the created universe as "absolutely extraordinary" and conveyed the emotion that influencers felt while visiting the set, some of them crying tears of joy. Aubrey emphasized the platform's significant financial commitment to this project, mentioning that it is a special opportunity to work on such an important adaptation. The series, which is being filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, is scheduled to be released in 2027, with each season dedicated to one book from J.K. Rowling's series. Under the leadership of showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Mylod, the new series will feature Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout, and Arabella Stanton in the roles of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Aubrey highlighted that this adaptation excellently represents the TV industry in the UK, being created by a British writer and having a top production team.
