The 78th Cannes Film Festival kicks off on Tuesday, with final preparations on the Croisette. Juliette Binoche, president of the jury, and other big-name actors like Tom Cruise and Robert De Niro are expected. The festival runs until May 24, when the Palme d'Or will be awarded.
