Consumers are becoming more cautious with their spending; for example, a woman in New York has reduced her gift budget from 500 to 300 dollars. Additionally, many shoppers are waiting for discounts during the Thanksgiving weekend, and retailers like Walmart and Amazon have started promotions earlier. However, experts are noticing a decrease in promotions, and prices for basic goods have risen significantly.
