Presidential Elections 2025. Voter turnout almost double in the Diaspora in the second round of the presidential election, compared to the first round on Friday at 6 p.m.

<p>A total of 130,528 Romanians from the Diaspora voted in the second round of the presidential elections on Friday, by 6 pm, compared to 71,704 Romanians who voted in the first round, on the same day and time. The top countries where the Diaspora has already voted are the Republic of Moldova, Italy and the United Kingdom. Voting in the Diaspora will take place over three days, starting on Friday and ending on Sunday, at 21:00, Romanian time, at the same time as the voting in the country.
