Former Prime Minister Theodor Stolojan says that Romania is exposed to sanctions from the European Union due to non-compliance with written commitments to reduce the deficit. In the 'Talk B1' show, he stressed that although the European Commission could offer a new postponement, the situation is becoming critical. Stolojan explained that Romania needs to reduce 30 billion lei in spending and criticized the delay in implementing the necessary reforms, which could have avoided the VAT increase.
