December 22 to 23 night, the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) reported the detection of two aerial targets in Ukrainian airspace, in the direction of Reni and Chilia, in the context of Russian drone attacks on port infrastructure near the border with Romania. At 01:10, radar systems identified these targets, and at 01:26, a RO-Alert message was issued for residents in the northern Tulcea County and southeastern Galați County.

Explosions were also reported on the territory of Ukraine, but no unauthorized incursions into national airspace were reported. The state of alert was lifted at 02:15, according to information provided by MApN.
