November 1st, the mountain rescuers from the Brașov County Mountain Rescue Service intervened in the Bucegi Massif, in the area of Hornul Mălăiești, to rescue two trapped tourists. They had been previously warned by rescuers not to continue their ascent due to difficult conditions and lack of proper equipment. Ignoring these recommendations, the tourists reached an exposed area where they became trapped. A first response team was dispatched to the scene to assess the situation, and a second team from the Râșnov Mountain Rescue was mobilized to support the intervention if necessary. The mountain rescuers emphasize the importance of following their advice and that of the authorities to avoid risks in the mountain area.
