The Romanian women's national table tennis team achieved a clear victory in the quarter-finals of the European Championship, defeating Slovakia 3-0. Players Bernadette Szocs, Elizabeta Samara, and Andreea Dragoman demonstrated superior play, employing effective strategies and precise shots. Szocs won her match against Ema Labosova, while Samara defeated Tatiana Kukulkova, and Dragoman finished the match against Barbora Varady.

With this victory, Romania, the #1 favorite, qualified for the semifinals, where they will meet the Netherlands on Saturday at 5:00 PM. The Romanian Table Tennis Federation highlighted the remarkable performance of the team, thus securing a place on the European podium.
