Oleg Ozerov, the accredited ambassador of the Russian Federation to Chișinău, was summoned on November 26 to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova (MFA) to provide explanations regarding a Russian drone that fell on a house in the Florești district. The MFA handed the Russian diplomat a note of protest regarding the illegal overflight of Moldovan airspace by six drones on November 25, deeming these actions unacceptable and a serious violation of national sovereignty.
The Ministry requested the Russian Federation to refrain from actions that threaten Moldova's security and to respect international norms. Ozerov was presented with the Gerbera model drone found on the roof of a house, but he downplayed the incident, stating that the drone was too small to cause significant damage.
