The European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, was received by the Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, highlighting the close partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the EU.

Marta Kos made a visit to Chișinău, being received by the new Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu. The Prime Minister highlighted that Marta Kos's four visits in the last two years demonstrate an increasingly close partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union. Munteanu emphasized that the commissioner's visits have allowed for a better understanding of Moldova and its interaction with various local communities. He thanked for the EU's constant support and stated that Moldova wishes to bring Europe closer to its citizens.

During the visit, Marta Kos is participating in the conference '2025 Enlargement Report', which brings together government officials, international partners, and representatives of civil society. Her last visit took place in September of this year.
