The former prime minister also reiterated the idea that USR should leave the government, with Marcel Ciolacu also sharing the same opinion. Former PSD leaders, such as Adrian Năstase and Mircea Geoană, were also present at the congress. Viorica Dăncilă declined the invitation, while Liviu Dragnea was not invited.
