The former prime minister claims that the decisions made by the minister, including the dismissal of the director of the Romanian Waters Administration and the commencement of works at the Paltinu Dam without alternative solutions, have led to a situation where 100,000 people, including hospitals and schools, have been left without drinking water. Ponta states that the minister tried to cover up the mistakes by pumping non-potable water into the network, turning the crisis into a sanitary problem. He demands Buzoianu's dismissal but believes that Prime Minister Bolojan will not have the courage to act against a USR minister. Ponta emphasizes the need to consult specialists to find real solutions to the water crisis.
